1:3 HYPERREAL MOVIE STATUE
The JND production of <Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade> was about celebrating and remembering not only to the movie we all love, but to also titans of the movie world, Sean Connery and Harrison Ford. It’s a great honor for JND to revisit this film.
JND artists worked extremely hard on the likeness and quality. The “Indiana Jones” franchise has a very large fan base, and it was important for us to get the likeness done well.
Indiana Jones is one of those special characters who has many accessories, for which collectors would really want to see high quality as well. It’s not a simple task to express the materials and textures of Indiana Jones’s leather jacket, hat, and whip. It is our goal that collectors are unable to tell what the accessories are actually made of.
We’ve also recreated Henry Jones’ glasses, and his Herringbone suit, which took a lot of time and work to get the fit down right into a 1:3 scale. In terms of the wardrobe design, this project has been the most challenging for our artists.
JND Collectors love the painting technique of our products. That’s why we continue to research and work by trial and error to continue to improve upon our techniques. We believe JND’s Indiana and Henry Jones character statues have finally reached a point where it’s getting close to a real life-like look.
